January 24, 2010: Christine's Cheer Competition.

Some good friends of ours asked us to cover their daughter's Cheer Power competition. Of course we're good friends with her too so we were more than happy to get together a few photos for them! We didn't have media passes or anything and we barely made her routine. So we're glad we were able to get these snaps! Congrats to Christine!

January 23, 2010: Farilyn and Matt's Wedding.

Now this was definitely a crash coarse! I got a call from Matt sometime in mid January and we shot his engagement portraits, her bridal portraits and got everything ready just before his wedding all in one week. Josephine and I were only guests at his wedding, but I couldn't help but to take some photos of my own for the blog. Enjoy!

January 20, 2010: Farilyn's Bridal Portraits.

We chose an interesting location for Farilyn's Bridal portraits but they came out pretty well in my opinion. We don't go here often but we should start going here more. Let's see if anyone can guess where this is! Great job to Farilyn for toughing it out in the rough weather! And a lot of thanks to Josephine as always for helping out on the shoot!

January 19, 2010: Farilyn and Matt's Engagement Portraits.

We went and took Matt and Farilyn's engagement portaits near Wortham Center. It was a cool January day in Houston during this shoot which definitely helped the mood and atmosphere. It was just such a great day outside.

January 17, 2010: Audrey and Nym's Engagement/Bridal Portraits.

Audrey and Nym... what else can I say. What a fantastic couple. They are so extremely cute together but not in a extreme lovey dovey way. It's just hard to explain. You really just have to watch the video...

January 02, 2010: Duyen and Dat's Engagement Ceremony.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Duyen and Dat were engaged today. This was their engagement ceremony. The Vietnamese Culture has a tradition where the groom's family travels to the bride's family bearing gifts and offerings to the Bride's family in hopes that they will accept the Groom's offerings and accept his hand in marriage. This is only tradition of course since these two knew long before this ceremony took place that they would be getting engaged. It's sort of like a miniature wedding... A preview of things to come when the real wedding comes along.
