November 11th, 2011: Magen's Bridal Portraits.

Magen was the lucky young lady that caught the bouquet at one of our previous bride's wedding back in 2010. So we were ecstatic to hear she was interested in us covering her wedding! These are her bridal portraits that were kept secret until the wedding day! Beautiful dress, Magen!

November 5th, 2011: Liz and Lance's Wedding.

Liz and Lance have mutual friends with JHPhotography. Lance bikes and hangs out with one of our crew members, Mike, and Josephine knows Liz from High School. We were thrilled to capture there wedding knowing it wouldn't be your typical cookie cutter wedding. Their personalities are just so amazing together and they make such a beautiful couple. Congratulations to Liz and Lance!

November 4th, 2011: Lien and Jimmy's Engagement Photos.

Lien and Jimmy are really sweet together. Once you meet them, you can just tell the photosession will go great because the two have such great chemistry with one another. We took the bulk of these pictures at the Wortham Center.

October 30, 2011: Jenn and Josh's Engagement Photos.

It's common for photographers and engaged couples to meet each other before their photos are taken. The interaction and connection between the couple and the photographer must quickly escalate so that they can all be comfortable with each other. Sometimes this happens quickly, sometimes it doesn't happen at all. Jenn and Josh seemed to just be so at ease with a camera in their face right off the bat! They just flourished so naturally in front of the lens. These photos were taken at Eleanor Tinsley Park near Downtown Houston. Afterwards we took a fun stroll down the streets of Downtown.

October 29, 2011: Gabby and Tim's Wedding.

Tim is a Marine. He is awesome. Seriously, he's really awesome and we appreciate the men and women who serve our country for each and every day of freedom that they provide for us. Gabby and Tim are a perfect match for one another! Congratulations to you guys on a beautiful ceremony.

Richard is an old dear friend of mine and I'm so happy for him and Jenna finally getting engaged! Congratulations to the two! We took these photos at Hermann park in Houston, Texas. They were so fun to shoot and interacted with each other so well!

October 15, 2011: Stephanie and Teo's Wedding.

More and more lately, we've been getting a lot more requests for Video Only. We've been working with a ton of other photographers. We really enjoy working with Costas from photographybycostas.com. We seem to work so well together. Stephanie and Teo had a very lovely Traditional Catholic ceremony at Holy Rosary. The decoration was great and the weather wasn't too bad. I've known Stephanie for a very long time and I was thrilled that she had JHP cover her special day! Congratulations Stephanie and Teo!

When you shoot video only for a wedding, you're often overlooked by the bride and groom. The photographer gets most of the attention! This is understandable, people always want to get the perfect shot. Well we stride to get the perfect shot for photos and video and today was no different.
